Hire A Chauffeur (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a transport service provider based in Melbourne, Australia. We provide booked passenger transport services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across Australia.
By making a booking, confirming a reservation, or using our services, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
1. SERVICES
We provide pre-booked passenger transport services including:
- Airport transfers
- Corporate and business travel
- Event and private transport
- Wedding transport
- Point-to-point chauffeur services
- Other pre-arranged passenger transport services
All services are delivered using licensed luxury vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, minibuses, and coaches.
2. BOOKINGS
2.1 General Booking Conditions
All bookings must include accurate details including pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger details, and luggage requirements.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion, including where incomplete or incorrect information is provided.
Booking confirmation is only valid once accepted by us in writing or confirmed via our booking system and payment is received.
2.2 Immediate Bookings
Immediate bookings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
If accepted, estimated arrival time and pricing will be provided at the time of confirmation.
If an immediate booking is cancelled after confirmation, 100% cancellation fees apply.
2.3 Advance Bookings
Advance bookings may be placed via website, phone, or email.
We reserve the right to refuse bookings where vehicle capacity is unavailable.
2.4 Airport Transfers
For airport transfers, customers must provide correct flight details.
We are not responsible for:
- Incorrect flight numbers or travel details
- Airline delays or cancellations
- Terminal changes or airport operational decisions
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made via phone or email.
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- More than 24 hours prior: No charge
- 24 to 1 hour prior: 50% of booking value
- Less than 1 hour prior: 100% of booking value
If we are unable to perform the service due to our fault, a full refund will be issued.
4. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or service failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Traffic congestion
- Weather conditions
- Accidents or road closures
- Strikes or industrial action
- Government restrictions or emergencies
- Airport operational disruptions
No refunds or compensation apply in such circumstances unless required by law.
5. PAYMENTS
Payments are processed securely via third-party providers including Stripe and PayPal.
We do not store or access customer card details.
By making payment, you authorise us to charge the agreed amount for the booking.
All prices are in AUD unless otherwise stated.
Chargebacks or payment disputes made without valid reason may result in service restrictions and recovery action.
6. REFUNDS
Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method.
Refunds are subject to processing times of banks and payment providers.
Refund processing may take 7–10 business days (or longer depending on your financial institution).
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, Stripe, PayPal, or card issuers.
Once processed by us, the refund is deemed completed.
7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for ensuring all booking information is accurate.
We are not liable for missed bookings due to incorrect:
- Pickup time
- Location
- Flight details
- Contact information
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the service booked
9. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Pickup and booking details
- Payment information (processed via third-party providers only)
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Process bookings
- Provide transport services

3. PAYMENT SECURITY
All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal). We do not store card details.
4. DATA SHARING
We do not sell or rent personal information. Data is only shared when required to deliver services or comply with legal obligations.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain booking information only as long as necessary for business and legal purposes.
